What’s happening?
Over the winter and spring, Underhill town staff have worked with a web developer to design a new town website. This site will help residents, neighbors, and visitors find news and information related to life in Underhill, and will also serve as a portal for accessing important documents such as records, ordinances, and forms. The new website will be available at the same URL as our current site: https://www.underhillvt.gov/
When is it happening?
Changeover to the new site will happen over the course of this weekend (5/12 - 5/14). You may notice that only certain parts of the new site are available at first, and vice versa. This is normal, and the transition should be complete starting Monday 5/15.
What’s going to change?
The new site has been optimized for accessibility and ease of use. We’ve prioritized simple, mobile-friendly pages, which we hope will help you find what you’re looking for faster. There are also streamlined menus, a staff directory, and a search function.
What’s NOT changing is the information you can access via the town’s website: in addition to land records and forms, the new site will continue to host agendas, minutes, and meeting schedules for town departments and policy committees.
I have a suggestion for how to improve the new site/ I noticed that something’s missing. What should I do?
A website redesign is a complex project, and therefore, you may notice a few errors or omissions during the first few days of the new site’s operation. If you notice something that you believe to be an error, please contact town staff with your questions or concerns and we will look into it (contacts below).
